i think most people would have a different opinion but i really like these 2 styles

1) a little bit of longer hair with wings (what you get from wearing hats and helmets when you have a little bit of longer hair)

2) when its a medium length and its a little bit messy and not perfect (spikyish)

those are guy hair lengths (for girl it would be so much longer)

i love my boyfriends hair it is shoulder length with a style to it a bit of razoring at end to make it kink a bit and give it volume mmm mmmm (done by hairdresser) this style has to be my fav and not just cause hes my man but also cause it really suits him and alot of other men as well
