i have brown curly hair that is layered and the longest bit is to my shoulders and the shortest at my ear. i find it dificault to tie back. it is sut with a side part and sort of a side fringe. what can i do with it?

i have had almost all kinds of hairstyle,long and short and have come to a conclusion..........have a neat straight trim.............whatever be the length...............this not only gives illusion of thick hair................but also improves your hair health............is hassle free................and you can try myriad styles on it.
people talk of layers and layers.tell me.............layers look good only when hair is kept open............but what about other times?straight trimmed hair can be changed to so many hairstyle,buns,updo,open.and suits more or less all face shapes.

straighten it every now and then, put a head band pulling your fringe back (if you have one), put a hair band keeping your fring out, put a clip from the front pulling it back, french braid, two braids, five braids tied with a scrunchie,side ponytails.... all i can thing of.
